Rich Dad's "The Business School" For People Who Like Helping People

The 8 hidden Values of a Network Marketing Business, Other than making Money By: Robert Kiyosaki Wow, I have just finished reading this book again, and realize that yet again I have fallen back into the same old habits.  One of the things he stresses is the freedom and independence you get from working in the "right hand" sector rather than the "left hand" sector.  To put it in a nutshell, you are in the "left hand" sector if you have to work for a company, or if you have your own company and have to work in it. Matters not if you are a lawyer or a maid service, if you have to be there, you have no freedom.  Were as in the "right hand" side, you have money and freedom. Great book, lots of interesting thought provoking ideas.

$5 Billion in Commissions Paid, WOW

Hi, from La Paz, where the sun is shining and the breeze is blowing.  That "breeze" bit is to differentiate from the strong winds we seem to have had all this spring. Some really neat stuff from Shaklee. Shaklee is celebrating! We've reached the $5 billion (U.S.) mark in commissions paid to Distributors who are building a Shaklee business. WOW! this is really terrific. Here is a business that has been going for almost 50 years, started off really tiny, and has grown to humongous proportions, and has been true to its values to "make products in harmony with Nature".  Now, in 2010, that is a bandwagon, that most companies are trying to copy, but back in the 1950's that was light years ahead of itself.  Click below and listen to what Roger Barnett has to say. http://content.shaklee.com/shaklee/flash/show.php?video=Conversation-with-Roger I am really proud to be associated with this great company, and have been using  Shaklee products since 1983 when I

Just another day in Paradise

It has been a beautiful sunny day that the Baja is noted for. Even went for a swim in the bay around 5:30 when it was the hottest.  The water wasn't pristine, but the current was low and the water felt great, swam around the boat a few times just for exercise. Have been spending too much time in front of the computer. The new marketing is going super. Am having loads of fun, it is always great to see hits on my sites, and people who want more info.  Signed up for a new traffic site today called Sweeva http://www.sweeva.com/splash/phylomena it's called "social marketing" and I must admit it took me a few minutes to get the hang of it. But amazingly enough, I have had contacts and members from it. So wheeeeeeeee.... this is good. Still haven't managed to get the pictures downloaded from Dockwise, but I must say it was  a hoot.  Really interesting what they did. When we arrived at 7:30 in the morning, no less. (it meant I was up at 4:30, just to make coffee a

Why do the Pelicans use my boat as their toilet?

It has been a year since I started this internet marketing, and lots of ups and downs.  One thing that I really didn't expect was the learning curve. So much to learn and so little time. But the other thing that I didn't expect was the wasted time and money. So at the end of this year, having gotten nothing but a lot of frustration and a whole lot of cynicism I have had to re-assess. The first thing I did was to weigh all the facts, do I want to continue, or should I just give up and say, no thanks.  And I came to the conclusion that I would give it one more year, and if I was still spending more than I was making, well then it would be time to re-assess again. The second thing that I did was call up Janet Legere, who use to do some of the Shaklee "Land of And" conference calls.  She seemed to make a lot of sense and was marketing on the internet, and I have been getting emails from her for the past year, so I thought I would see what she had to say. So  I called an
